The lens is characterised by its high optical quality, which is achieved through the use of aspherical lenses and special glass lenses with low dispersion. The lens has a fast AF stepping motor and a newly developed, clip-on lens hood that reduces stray light. The lens is available for L-mount, Sony E-mount and FUJIFILM X-mount.
